El Paraíso House, Las Galeras (Room #3)
"El Paraiso" is a rustic getaway perched high on cliffs overlooking the beautiful Samana Bay. It offers private bungalow rooms perfect for couples with a number of nearby activities including: zip-lining, whale watching, snorkeling, renowned beaches and much more.
Built with local materials that blend in with the surrounding ecosystem, it is a place where you can immerse yourself in nature, find tranquility and connect with your inner self and loved ones.
The space
This room has a Dominican decor and is equipped with a double bed and a jet shower. It is located on a second floor (in the upper room #4). It has tall front windows that provide a spectacular view of the bay and can be opened for a cool breeze year round.
That said, there is no air conditioning in the room and it is equipped with a ceiling fan instead.

Price includes:
- Dominican breakfast served daily at 8:00 am. Breakfast includes assorted tropical fruits, eggs and native dishes such as fried yucca, mangú (mashed plantains) or sweet potatoes.
- Daily cleaning service. Our staff will be available to attend from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Tipping staff will accept tips.
- Our kitchen is available for our guests if they prefer to buy groceries nearby and cook their own food. We also encourage our guests to bring their own bottles of alcohol at no additional charge.
Services are available for an additional charge:
- If you prefer to stay for dinner, we can arrange for our professional Italian chef Mirko to cook for you the best food in town, ranging from USD $40 to $80 p/p.
- Please note that our selection of drinks and food is limited. Upon request, we can have a list of your favorites available when you arrive.
Additional services can be paid in cash or through Airbnb. Credit cards are not accepted.
Amenities and common areas
All features of the house are available to guests, including the common area, pool area, poolside bar and lounge, outdoor dining patio, and backyard.

Private parking for two vehicles is available at the property.
You will find wifi with Starlink engine on the premises.
The house has few enclosed spaces and therefore is not considered safe for unsupervised children.
Samana Bay is home to Atlantic humpback whales that return each year from January to April and can be seen from the property.
NOTE: We are animal lovers and encourage guests to bring their dogs that can roam the property. Therefore, our home is not recommended for those who do not like dogs.
